Dear Blog 20/8/2012

My Netball team won the grade! It was hard but with a balanced focused court, anything is possible! There was only one goal in it but but thanks to the shooters because if they missed one extra goal we would be only first equal! I think the team has come a long way since the trials at the start of the season so that all our efforts paid off in the end! :) I love netball it was a shame that we only got one game in the new dresses but that's life and I hope the next set Netballers can enjoy them!

What sport do you play?

Dear Blog 17/8/2012

OMG! The production is so close! I can't wait but there is still a lot of things that we need to do like make the clothes and practice the dances. On monday we need to bring everything that we're wearing on  the nights because there will be dress rehearsal at anytime. This will be my (and allth year 7 & 8's) last production so there is still a lot to do. I can't wait till the night like most people.

Are you ready for it?

Dear blog 9/8/2012 OLYMPIC SPORT!

Handball! Most people think that Handball is a sport played with hands against a wall, well your WRONG!
Handball ( a.k.a Olympic handball, European handball or Borden ball) is a Team sport where two teams of seven players each team (six players make up the outfield and a goalkeeper) A game is made of two of 30 minute halves, and, like most team sports, the team with the most goals at the end wins.

Handball is usually played indoors, outdoor Handball is not as common and is called Field Handball  and beach handball (a.k.a sandball). Goals are scored a lot, usually both teams score at least 20 goals each.

The ball is round and is made of leather. Sizes vary because of the age and gender of the players.
